Accepted boarding passes
An accepted boarding pass includes:
- an AirNZ app boarding pass
You can use an electronic boarding pass at all New Zealand domestic airports. Please use the Air NZ app for mobile boarding passes, as these are the only electronic passes accepted. - a home-printed boarding pass
You can also print out your boarding pass at home and use that. Screenshots or emailed versions are not accepted, only the printed version of the pass. - an airport kiosk/counter-printed paper boarding pass
You may be travelling through an airport that doesn't accept electronic or home-printed passes. If so, you can always use the kiosk or visit the check-in desk when you get to the airport. You'll be able collect your boarding passes from there.
All airports you visit on your trip would need to accept electronic boarding passes for you to use one for the journey. This is also the case for boarding passes printed at home. The table below shows which airports accept electronic or home-printed passes.
